How To Paint the Red Hibiscus In Watercolor By Ross Barbera Part 2

This is Part 2 of a three part video series on "How to Paint the Red Hibiscus in Watercolor." In this video I demonstrate how to paint this beautiful flower using transparent watercolor painting techniques. My instructions are easy to follow, and very detailed. This video is packed with useful watercolor information and painting tips, and in it I discuss and demonstrate every aspect of the paintings development. Each part of this painting series is approximately thirty minutes long. Part 1 introduces the initial stages of the painting's development. Topics discussed range from techniques used to apply washes of color, color mixing, masking techniques and paper preparation. Part 2 is devoted to the overall development of the painting. In this part you will see how I control washes of color to achieve desired results. You will learn how to control "wet into wet,", and how to effectively interpret your subject matter. Part 3 brings the painting to completion. In this section you will see how I develop the background for the painting, and how I work with my paints to create specific results.
